I’m going to make an angry bird for my brother’s birthday party on monday. My little man Sammy is turning 5 on August 26th, but I won’t be home for that. So my family and I are holding a little family party for him so I can kind of be home for his birthday. Sammy loves video games, especially angry birds—he was literally obsessed at one point so we had to delete it off of all of the devices. I knowwww he’ll love this.

I’m making two red velvet cakes. The angry bird is going to be bigger and I’ll use the extra from the second cake to make the pig. It’s definitely going to be interesting to make. I’ll be using different colored icing, jelly beans, licorice and sprinkles.

For Alex’s 24th birthday, I made a red velvet cake from scratch. Not to be cocky, but it tasted pretty good…
